Magnetic Manipulation
Wednesday, October 31st, 2007 by admiral My question for the day is, “ do magnetic fields effect the space that contains objects?” I expect to go this entire tirade and not even touch on the subject. There are people who might notice that. Just to surprise them, I will specify that magnetic fields do effect objects over distance without any form of physical contact. The question deals with the possibility that a magnetic field effects objects by effecting the space that contains those objects.
Long ago, when the materialist religion was first born, materialists denied the possibility of action at a distance. They believed that all actions had to involve some form of direct physical contact. When the existence of fields could no longer be denied, the materialist religion produced the naturalist denomination. The problem with action at a distance is that it did not involve something that has physical properties. How do you picture something that does not physically exist?
Another car in this philosophical train includes people who did not believe that true motion was possible. You see, in order to move any distance, you first have to move half that distance. Since there are an infinite number of half distances between even the closest points in realspace, the distance between all points in space is infinite. If you have to move an infinite amount of distance in order to move at all, then movement is not possible. Movement could only be an illusion.
My take on this is that realspace is not as analog as it appears. You see, if distance is quantized with a minimum bound, then there are far fewer than an infinite amount of half distances in any full distance. Believe it or not, I am coming to a point with this. If the fabric of space-time is made up of point-moments of finite size, like the pixels on the monitor of your computer, then they are ‘real’ enough to manipulate. I have probably touched on my view of gravity as a standing compression wave and that is as far as I can get today.
I am not babbling about eather right now. What I am getting at is the manipulation of the physical gridwork that makes up space-time and not any substance within that fabric. You would only notice this distortion by the changed motion of objects within the fabric of space time, in the same way a car is effected by moving through a pothole. Such distortion would have the same effects as any field that I am aware of. This tirade is just out of space to prove it.
