Sucking Less
Monday, August 13th, 2007 by joelOkay, I admit it, the comics lately, when they have appeared, have not been up to par. I actually do have a fairly good story idea, however, due to a number of life changes I am currently going through, I have neither to time nor the energy to create them well. The art is poor and rushed, and I have given the scripting little to no thought. I am also usually tired out of my mind when hashing the crap out.
I toyed, not for the first time, with the idea of quitting the comic. However urging from others asked me to keep doing it. So, here’s the deal. I am taking some time off the story. I am going to produce the low-maintenance one-shot funnies for a while. I will come back to this story when I have the time to do it justice. Deal?
Few updates: I want to take the West Wheel comics to this year’s Comicon in Baltimore this as a portfolio to show to a few Syndicates. The goal being to get a job as an artist. Wish me luck or pray for me, depending on your theological leanings. Thanks!
