Alright, already, I wrote a stinkin’ article.

Hi folks. It’s been a long time since I talked with you. Although, and I think you will grant me this point, its more like talking TO you. You could write BACK once in a while, you know? Let me know how things are going in YOUR life. I don’t think that’s too much to ask. A relationship is a two-way street, you know. You’ve all heard about the new format. Everyone has said something. I will say this: This one time, I took a class on graphic design. “Sweet!� thought I, “I’ll be designing GRAPHICS! It’s like, pictures, and art, and I think it involves computers! This is my ticket to a job in the art fields of the FUTURE! I am on-board, I am ready, I am like future-MAN over here!�
Then I discovered what Graphic Arts were. Graphic art, guys, is a field wherein the artist is asked to format and design layouts for information in a trendy way. Designing menus for restaurants, designing covers for magazines, and yes, that most techy of ALL art fields, the designing of a webpage. Well, okay, designing graphics for computer programs might be more techy. It’s a tossup.
Turns out I am not very good at Graphic arts. I got kicked out of the course for my utter inability to design things in a way more or less pleasing to the eye. All this is my long way of saying that you should all be very thankful to Brian “Almighty Admin� for his most excellent work on the webpage. He knows stuff I do not.
Here is one thing he taught me, quite recently, in fact, about the nature of this new and improved Battle Station. And by that I mean “Web Page.� I am not a geek. Ask Girdy. I’m what’s known as “A Dork.�
The thing he taught me is that, in order for the comics to post on schedule each and every time, there needs to be an article posted. This should prove interesting, because it means that you may see more articles like this one, which are just me rambling incoherent crap in order to fill space and assure that the comics are actually posted. Enjoy!
