We Are All Being Brainwashed
Friday, October 17th, 2003 by joelLook, I don’t mean to sound alarmist here, but it’s
true.? The structure of society to its very core is set up like a
large-scale version of one of those cult groups that ends up committing
mass suicide.
Allow me to elaborate. ?There are five core
elements to the art of mass-brainwashing: sleep deprivation, lack of
privacy, poor nutrition, constant bombardment of the senses, being told
exactly what to think and do.
Sleep deprivation eats away at rational thought and
makes us more irrational, impulsive, and unable to think for ourselves.?
Modern society is geared to deprive its members of a good night’s rest.?
I won’t even bother explaining that, because you all know its true and
you know why.
The lack of privacy keeps the brainwashie from
being able to get alone and clear their mind.? Now I can’t say that we
all have a profound lack of privacy, but the paranoid delusion that
someone is watching us at all times is becoming more real all the time.?
We are constantly bombarded in our own homes with intrusions of privacy
from telemarketers to the Internet.? And what’s even more true is the
fact that we don’t allow ourselves time to clear our heads, because
after the exhaustion of the work day, most of us spend our time engaged
in activities that engage all the senses, whether it be TV, video games,
or entertainment facilities, we do not ALLOW ourselves the privacy we
often need.
Poor nutrition breaks down the mind and body,
adding to fatigue, laziness, and decreasing the subject’s ability to
think properly.? Fatty, sugary foods and drinks with chemical stimulants
or depressants that alter our mental state are ever more present and
addictive within the world than ever before.? It’s so much easier to get
a quick, cheap, good-tasting meal that is free of nutrition than it is
to keep a balanced diet.? One would almost think that they WANT us to
eat poorly.
Constant bombardment of the senses hardly needs
explanation in regards to brainwashing.? It’s the primary way of keeping
the subject confused and compliant.? It’s also easy to see how the
modern world constantly bombards our senses.? It’s not enough that we
have TV, but now its geared toward shorter attention spans so that we
don’t need to pay attention to one scene, one conversation, even one
commercial for very long at all.?
Finally the icing on the cake is that the
brainwasher will tell the brainwashie exactly what to think and do and
the subject will follow the leader because they have lost the ability to
think for him or herself.? Well the media is always telling us what to
think and what to do, so there you go.
What I’d like to know is who is telling the media
what to say and do?? What’s the motivating force behind this mass
brainwashing?? I’ll get back to you when I have a better answer.
