We’re all familiar with the question: if you had three wishes, what
would they be?? Most of us thought ourselves geniuses when we first
thought to ask for more wishes, of course.? What would you wish
for?? Well most responses consist of money, relationships, success,
fame, special powers, or the like.? If someone says otherwise, they
are just trying to be original.? They still want all that other
stuff.?
Of course, the fact is, that all those things are
simply a means toward another end.? The person hopes that through
those things they will gain satisfaction, contentment, or happiness.?
The question is, why does no one think to simply ask to be satisfied,
content, and happy?
